weldon washburn closed HARMONY-1886.

    Resolution: Fixed

Committed.  Built on both windows  MSVC and linux w/ gcc 3.4.5.  These changes are local to GCV5 which is not currently part of smoke tests.  smoke test w/ Jitrino works.
