[jira] [Commented] (DTACLOUD-502) CIMI: Missing ?$select and ?$expand functionality for the cloudEntryPoint

    [ https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/DTACLOUD-502?page=com.atlassian.jira.plugin.system.issuetabpanels:comment-tabpanel&focusedCommentId=13628997#comment-13628997 ]

Joseph J. VLcek commented on DTACLOUD-502:
------------------------------------------

After researching and consulting the Deltacloud team and http://dmtf.org/sites/default/files/standards/documents/DSP0263_1.0.1.pdf
It seems to make sense to support $expand for cloudEntryPoint but not $select.

I will add support for $expand to cloudEntryPoint and not $select.

Please comment if this is not acceptable.

> Executing: curl -X GET -H "Accept:Application/xml" --user "un:pw" 'http://localhost:3001/cimi/machines?$expand=disks' ... works
> Trying ?$select and ?$expand on the cloudEntryPoint does expand or select as machines does. Looks like we only have that functionality implemented for the machines collection. AFAICT, it's need on cloudEntryPoint as well.
