[jira] [Created] (AMQ-5482) kahadb size not reducing as messages are read -- eventually blocking

Chip Stettler created AMQ-5482:
----------------------------------

Summary: kahadb size not reducing as messages are read -- eventually blocking
                 Key: AMQ-5482
                 URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/AMQ-5482
             Project: ActiveMQ
          Issue Type: Bug
          Components: activemq-leveldb-store
    Affects Versions: 5.9.0
            Reporter: Chip Stettler

I have storageUsage set to 2mb and memoryUsage set to 1 mb. As I run the kahadb size as reported in console continues to increase. It eventually exceeds the 2mb and requests begin to block.

I was expecting the size to reduce as items are deleted or at least not grow continually.

Is this a configuration issue? Do I need to configure any cleanup? or is this a bug?
