Correct DBCP config instructions

I'm trying to get DBCP working with Tomcat and it seems that there are 
conflicting sets of examples/instructions on the web, some possibly out 
of date. Can someone point me to a site that contains instructions that 
are known to work? I am using Tomcat 5.5.20 with jdk1.5 and Axis2 1.1.1.
