Creating XML from Arbitrary Data (using DOM)
Hello, All!
I am implementing an interface where users create a tree (JTree) with some
data involving querying XML documents. The tree structure looks like:
-Find Each XML document that
|---+ has a person that
|--- has a name that matches "George"
|--- and a surname that matches "Brown"
etc.
This tree can be translated into XML in the form
<node>
<element>person</element>
<quantifier>has a </quantifier>
<node>
<element>name</element>
... etc.
conforming to a DTD like
node (element, quantifier, node*)
I want to create a DOM object from this data, and save it into an XML
format.
Can anyone help me in how to do that?
I have found a document from Sun, which unfortunately provides no sample
code, and I'm a bit lost as in how to start.
The document follows for those interested:
http://java.sun.com/xml/jaxp-1.0.1/docs/tutorial/dom/2_anydata.html
Thank you in advance
Mirto
