[jira] [Comment Edited] (SOLR-16554) Update docs on filter cache

--------------------------------------------------------------

Shawn Heisey is working on a cache dump (see [SOLR-15859|https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/SOLR-15859]).

This will be a huge benefit in tuning the filter cache. Mention it in the docs when it becomes part of standard Solr.

> The docs about the filter cache could use an update, especially more discussion on how to tune it.
> This is something I'm willing to take on, but would welcome help, especially on delving in to Solr internals.
> This ticket is intended as a place to aggregate discussion of the task, and also notes related to this.
