when "the page cannot be displayed" report fromthe IE5 and ps - ax | grep
httpd shows
14199 ? S 0:00 /usr/local/apache2/bin/httpd -k start
14200 ? S 0:00 /usr/local/apache2/bin/httpd -k start
14201 ? S 0:00 /usr/local/apache2/bin/httpd -k start
14202 ? S 0:00 /usr/local/apache2/bin/httpd -k start
14203 ? S 0:00 /usr/local/apache2/bin/httpd -k start
14204 ? S 0:00 /usr/local/apache2/bin/httpd -k start

Hi,
open a browser window and type http://localhost. Do you see a web page? If
not, is the server running? To check type "ps -ax | grep httpd". Do you have
any output when you do this?
