   I verified that now the package step doesn't result in a file like this:
   
   ```bash
   $ cat brave-karaf-0.1.2/DEPENDENCIES  
   // ------------------------------------------------------------------
   // Transitive dependencies of this project determined from the
   // maven pom organized by organization.
   // ------------------------------------------------------------------
   
   Brave Karaf (Parent)
   ```
