[REPORT] Apache Thrift - October 2015

 Thrift is a framework for providing cross-platform RPC and serialization.

Project Status
---------
Since our last board report Apache Thrift 0.9.3 has successfully been
released.
This release resolved a security vulnerability, CVE-2015-3254,
and added new
features focused on improved our client library stability. The Apache
Thrift
community continues to see consistent growth from new contributors for bug
fixes and client library improvements and we have added a new PMC member,
Randy Abernethy. We have starting work towards our next release candidate
which will focus on making multi OS builds easier.
