Touchstone

Hi,

I've added the touchstone build to the regular set of tests and it's
what I would like to use to write documentation. Have a section in the
users guide for each feature demonstrated/tested in the touchstone. I'm
sure there won't be a mad rush but just wanted to emphasize using the
touchstone for the basis of the documentation.
