[jira] [Created] (DIRSERVER-1771) When a server is brutally
disconnected and reconnected, the consumer still tries to connect again and
again
Emmanuel Lecharny created DIRSERVER-1771:
--------------------------------------------
Summary: When a server is brutally disconnected and reconnected, the consumer still tries to connect again and again
Key: DIRSERVER-1771
URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/DIRSERVER-1771
Project: Directory ApacheDS
Issue Type: Bug
Components: mitosis
Affects Versions: 2.0.0-M8
Reporter: Emmanuel Lecharny
Fix For: 2.0.0-M9
In a replication system, with 2 or more servers, if a provider is brutally shutdown (or network cable is unplugged), when it reconnects, the consumers get updated after a few seconds. But we have a remaining connection that tries to connect to the old socket, which is not there anymore, generating stacktraces.
