I was debugging another issue and noticed this.

score FOO (1) (1) (1) (1)

will set each score for FOO 1 higher.

score FOO (1)

will set all of the scores for FOO to the value of the set 0 score plus 1.  (1)
ought to internally be handled as "(1) (1) (1) (1)".
