Re: June 2015 Report

PPMC - ping.

It would be really good for the podling to draft the report and assess
progress against the mile stones for graduation.

Last time it said "Preparing for release - NOTICE/LICENSE handling."

No need to apologise personally - it should not be relying on just you.
  Anyone can jump in.

Signed off though I'm not completely comfortable with "The PPMC will
focus on ..." because there has not been much discussion. However, that
is better done here than on the report for now.

That sounds like a plan.

Re: June 2015 Report

Posted by Stian Soiland-Reyes <st...@apache.org>.
My apologies for missing the report deadline. I missed these emails
last week during holiday and business travels.

I have updated the report at
https://wiki.apache.org/incubator/June2015 - thanks for your feedback.

I agree on the comments.

I think some of the slowdown in general progress is unfortunate
side-effect of myself and Alan being dragged away in a busy period at
work.

GSOC bootstrapping obviously also took some resources.

Let's not forget we had good progress from Dmitry on refactoring and
WSDL support during April. We need to make sure we don't drop that
drive because of GSOC grabbing attention. Jira also move took some
time to sort out - now that it is here we should use it to organize
our work.

Agree however that we need to get our act together on the first
release. I think taverna-language can be done right away - specially
to mark a milestone for Menaka's GSOC project which depends on this.
Let us just try to push this out during the next weeks.

Re: June 2015 Report

Posted by Andy Seaborne <an...@apache.org>.
Hi PPMC,

The report is now overdue.

Mentors shouldn't be writing the report (TLC have to do them as well!)
and at the moment, I couldn't because I'm not clear what's what.

GSoC projects look to be progressing.
The initial release does not seem to have progressed.
Commits seem to have slowed.

	Andy
