   Is this only happening with how the snapshot is resolving or is this happening with 0.12.0 as well?

   From the maintenance mode “ Much of the functionality of this project can be replicated by a new feature coming in Gradle 4.6 and the default in Gradle 5.0. We would recommend new users seeking this functionality to adopt the feature directly from the Gradle. You can find details”. So it seems we should be replacing it with built in features to gradle.
   
   Would you be interested in looking into this more as well @racevedoo? The original find is really appreciated. Could you make an issue linking to the deprecation notice you found? That would be much appreciated as well.
   
   Thank you! And I just want to run some extra checks but outside of moving to the version file this is more or less good to me. Thanks again!
