If not, it's probably not a good idea to post forging a IRS.GOV e-mail address.

Any bounces or backscatter will be directed to the IRS's e-mail 
servers. I'm on a number of lists where someone  else on the list has 
set up a forward or a bounce that's bouncing or replying to EVERY 
message - and often this person is untrackable since the bounce is 
coming from say ABC.COM , but the user is subscribed via XYZ.COM .
