[jira] [Commented] (KNOX-1458) Support JDK 9/10/11/12

    [ https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/KNOX-1458?page=com.atlassian.jira.plugin.system.issuetabpanels:comment-tabpanel&focusedCommentId=16682746#comment-16682746 ]

Kevin Risden commented on KNOX-1458:
------------------------------------

Cleaned up the branch I was working on for this. It looks like recent versions of JDK 11 have the logging part working. It might have only been broken in 11-ea. JDK 12 now has the issue with logging. I'll upload a patch shortly but the existing PR is still valid. The latest test run is [https://travis-ci.org/risdenk/knox/builds/453358416] I need to check with the extra release verify tests but progress is good.

> This Jira is to track supporting JDK 9/10/11 for Apache Knox. With JDK 11 being released GA yesterday 9/25, we should see what needs to be investigated to make Apache Knox work.
