Sudden change?

Hi,

I have been making lots of changes to one JSP in my application, rebuilding
and redeploying the application each time I saved my code.  This was fine
but then all of a sudden the browser refuses to refresh!!  When I delete the
work directory and restart it works fine as it is forced to but just closing
down the browser or doing a SHIFT + F5 does nothing!!

Can anybody explain to me Tomcat's criterion for when it will / won't
refresh the JSP cache?  It was only a small change I had made the time if
first would not work.
