ValueError: Invalid tag name u'soapenv:Envelope'

hello guys, i just wanted to execute the most simple commands like
list_node etc, however, i get this error if i use python 2.7 on my machine

ValueError: Invalid tag name u'soapenv:Envelope'


What could that be???
