Maven2 new user: using the archetype plugin
Hi all,
According to the docs at
http://maven.apache.org/guides/getting-started/index.html#How%20do%20I%20make%20my%20first%20Maven%20project?,
you can use the archetype plugin to create a new template.
Trouble is, following the above instructions causes maven to complain
that the archetype plugin doesn't exist:
Graham-Leggetts-Computer:~/src/standard/alchemy/maven minfrin$ mvn
archetype:create -DgroupId=za.co.standardbank.alchemy
-DartifactId=alchemy-trader

Anyone have any ideas as to what I should be doing?
Regards,
Graham
