Revisiting merged indexes for 1.4-M4
In my repository group, it shows the merged index location as
/.indexer
Has anything changed in 1.4-M4 that would allow me to change this to
.index
so that NetBeans and other tools that look for the nexus indexes at the
default location would work?

Yes can take a while! depending the size of repositories you merge.
It's build when you ask it and the ttl for the last build is ok.
I'd like to add a sort of schedule to build that not on demand. (I
don't remember if I created a jira for that)

I just saw content pop up in the new .index location. However it looks
different than what is in the old ".indexer" location and when I told my
IDE to transfer the index, it is taking a very long time as well.
How often are the indexes calculated/update/refresh?

So I edited the "Merged Index Path" for my repository group named

I see ".index" but when I click on it, it just spins forever (now
approaching an hour).
How long should it take and how can I tell if it is working or what it's
