New Pootle Account

Hello my name is Wlada and please consider to provide me with an account, I
state that my contributions are under the Apache 2 license and I will work
on Serbian language (Latin and Cyrilic variant) . Now, there is no project
on the Pootle server (AOO 4), I guess I should ask for the .po files then,
or wait until you set up on the Pootle server project for AOO4 Serbian
language.

Sorry, this is being kept on hold since it overlapped with discussions
on how to handle new translations in 4.0.1.

> Is there chance to see on Pootle service soon?

Yes, definitely. A general cleanup has already been done in the last
couple of days by Jan and Juergen, 3.4 projects will be removed from
Pootle early next week and at the same time (or sooner) you will be able
to work on Serbian ("sr" and "sh") in Pootle for version 4.x.

Regards,
   Andrea.

Actually, existing 3.4 translations (those done before your account was
activated) will be kept and imported. So the part that is already
translated will stay the same, and the system will automatically suggest
you the right terminology by comparing existing translations.

Ok. Can we use translated terms on Serbia language in 3.4. for 4.0?

Hello Wlada,
I see that the new account is working for you and that you made some
edits. This is fine, use them for practising, but do not rely on the
3.4.1 edits.

To be clear: soon, likely tomorrow or Friday, there will be a Pootle
project for OpenOffice 4.0.0 at
https://translate.apache.org/sr/aoo40/ (Latin)
https://translate.apache.org/sh/aoo40/ (Cyrillic)

Whatever you do elsewhere in Pootle (like at
https://translate.apache.org/sr/OOo_34/ ) may be useful for you to learn
and have a look, but it will NOT be kept when we upload the 4.0 files.

Regards,
   Andrea.

Done. Your account is

Please go to
https://translate.apache.org/accounts/password/reset/
to receive your password.

Then you will able to login at
https://translate.apache.org/accounts/login/

As for the updated (4.x) files, follow
https://issues.apache.org/ooo/show_bug.cgi?id=122910
that will be updated when we (usually Juergen) make them available.

Regards,
   Andrea.
