[jira] Commented: (HBASE-2326) Extend the shell to include support for "indexed"

Alexey Kovyrin commented on HBASE-2326:
---------------------------------------

In the trunk we have a loadable modules for commands, I think I could add a conditional loading support do we'd be able to check if server supports indexed stuff and enable indexed commands when needed. As for the branch, I'll leave it for the core devs to decide on what to do.

> The IRB shell is a nice way to manage your tables and it would be nice to able to use it along with the "indexed" contrib. I propose a loadable .rb file to add the following commands:
> create_index <TABLE> <FAMILY> <QUALIFIER>
> remove_index <TABLE> <FAMILY> <QUALIFIER>
> list_index <TABLE> <FAMILY>
