[jira] Commented: (CXF-1711) Server failed to start and receieved IllegalAnnotationExceptions

    [ https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/CXF-1711?page=com.atlassian.jira.plugin.system.issuetabpanels:comment-tabpanel&focusedCommentId=12615319#action_12615319 ]

Daniel Kulp commented on CXF-1711:
----------------------------------

This is most likely a bug in the jaxb xjc compiler since we don't generate the ObjectFactories, it does.

You can try grabbing the 2.0.5 version of the xjc jar from:
http://download.java.net/maven/1/com.sun.xml.bind/jars/
and adding that to the classpath before the 2.0 version we ship and seeing if that helps. It probably will.

We cannot ship the 2.0.5 version as the JAX-WS RI 2.0 version that we have to test against for the TCK does not work with code generated from the 2.0.5 xjc. Thus, we would not be able to claim JAX-WS compliancy.

> Un-tar the attached tarball in the samples directory, then change to mtosi_v2/alarm_retrieval directory and run "ant server". The following stackstrace can be reproduced. (It requires ACTIVEMQ_VERSION and ACTIVEMQ_HOME to be set). it works find in 2.1.
