How to run C2 in traditional type mapping mode?

Hi,

how do I tell C2 to serve my .xml files in 
traditional mode like C1?

Normally a file.xml has the following content:
--------------
<?xml version="1.0"?>
<?xml-stylesheet type="text/xsl" href="document.xsl"?>
<document>
  ...
</document>
--------------

Here he should transform the file.xml with the
given stylesheed inside (document.xsl) anywhere
in what a directory the xml files are.
