                 URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/INFRA-7128
             Project: Infrastructure
          Issue Type: Task
          Components: HTTP Server, Website
            Reporter: Tomaz Muraus
            Priority: Minor

Dear Infra,

The Libcloud PMC is moving from Apache CMS to a new Jekyll powered static website.

The new website hasn't been committed to the SVN repository yet, but I expect this to happen either tomorrow or on Tuesday.

I have opened this ticket early because I have a couple of questions.

New website details:

Source code: https://svn.apache.org/repos/asf/libcloud/site/trunk/source/
Generated website (www root): https://svn.apache.org/repos/asf/libcloud/site/trunk/generated/

1. It it possible to allow overrides for our www root?

We have moved some of the content around, so we've added an .htaccess file with permanent redirects to the new locations.

The two directives we would like to have enabled are "Redirect" and "Header" (header might be redundant if you already set large expiration time for static resources). If you can't do that, we are also OK if you could put those directives directly into out VirtualHost section for our website.

The .htaccess file is available at https://github.com/Kami/libcloud-website-v2/blob/master/source/.htaccess

Let me know if there is anything else I can do to help.

Thanks
