[VOTE] Release 5.2.2

Well, it's that time again. I've put up copies of 5.2.2
source/binaries (http://people.apache.org/~hlship/tapestry-releases/)
and created artifacts
(https://repository.apache.org/content/repositories/orgapachetapestry-003/org/apache/tapestry/).

I've also created a release tag:
http://svn.apache.org/viewvc/tapestry/tapestry5/tags/releases/tapestry-project-5.2.2/

Howard M. Lewis Ship: +1 (binding)

Going from 5.2.1 to the latest 5.2.2 snapshot, PageLinks going from
SSL to non-SSL pages stopped working, something with the wrong port
number getting put into the URL. Overriding BaseURLSource did not seem
to affect it, and setting the proxyPort to the correct port on my
Tomcat connector also did not work.

I'm unsure if this is a Tapestry bug, or a fix that is revealing a
configuration issue on my end, so I'm not voting one way or the other
until I can track this down further. Has anyone else tried this with
5.2.2 yet by any chance?

Tested against a few different Tynamo libraries and looks good, 5.2.2
resolved the remaining issues I've had with T5.2. The live reloading
limitations (package private -> IllegalAccess) will surely trip up
some developers though. Is the documentation available for it
somewhere? Perhaps I can review it.

see is a PMC member :)

I'm fine being non-binding, and to be honest I don't want to have to
look it up for every vote so I'll just stick to non-binding.

I noticed yesterday, while giving a tapestry talk, that the quickstart
archetype references 5.2.1-SNAPSHOT. We don't have a 5.2.1-SNAPSHOT
release, though. Apart from that it should reference the same version as
the release, i.e. 5.2.2. This should be fixed before voting 5.2.2 GA.

It depends on how we handle it. We *can* make committers' votes binding, also limited to specific
matters, but we should make that clear in some sort of bylaws. Standard ASF procedure is that only
PMC votes are binding. See also [1].

I can't remember whether commiters' votes are binding when the subject
is a release (I think it should be, but I can't remember for sure).
Since we tend to vote on three things (releases, new committers, and
new PMCs) it seems like we could just write up the guidelines on the
wiki.
