Hi Lev,
The two major reasons I know of are:
1) You can specify a different error handler for each pipeline.
2) You can specify a pipeline as internal-only, meaning all matches inside
are only used by internal
cocoon:// references. So it's sometimes helpful to have two pipelines,
one for externally visible
matches, and one for internal-only matches.
