 Review comment:
   I wonder why not do it via `this.sourceThread = new LegacySourceFunctionThread(getName())` directly in master branch. Then 
   ```
   LegacySourceFunctionThread(String name) {
          super(name);
   }
   ```
   
   Although `performDefaultAction` would be executed only once for source task, it seems better to do it in constructor. WDYT?
