files with large sizes do not show up on directory listings in browsers

Summary: files with large sizes do not show up on directory
                    listings in browsers
           Product: Apache httpd-2.0
           Version: 2.0.50
          Platform: PC
        OS/Version: Linux
            Status: NEW
          Severity: Normal
          Priority: Other
         Component: Core
        AssignedTo: bugs@httpd.apache.org
        ReportedBy: la@uow.edu.au

I have 3 files available for download (all with same permissions) On the
directory listing page, only 2 files appear. Files sizes are 33KB, 712000KB and
2282000KB. The file over 2GB does not appear in the directory listing. When the
missing file name is entered as part of a URL from the browser, the web server
returns an error page as follows

*******************************************

Forbidden
You don't have permission to access /lejla/mydocs.zip on this server.

Additionally, a 403 Forbidden error was encountered while trying to use an
ErrorDocument to handle the request.

Apache/2.0.50 (Unix) Server at terra.uow.edu.au Port 3940

*******************************************************

The file has the same permissions as the other two files, which are download
sucessfully. So there must be a file size at which this bug is triggered
