Mapping Requests

Hi folks,

could someone please give me a hint concerning URL mapping. I don't want
to let anyone browse directories of my htdocs. Furthermore I don't want
to put a index.html into each subdirectory. Instead, users should see a
"404 not found" if they enter a directory URL in their browser's
location bar. I understand there must be something configured into the
web.xml. Any ideas for a quick 'n' dirty hack?
