Synapse Slow on localhost
Hello,
I am a student who is involved with some SOA development in Sri Lanka, am
using WSO2 synapse ESB (V 2.0.2) to create some proxy services and for
service logging.
The ESB is very slow on localhost (https://localhost:9443/carbon) it takes
roughly about 30 seconds to give a simple response. I have tried many things
including changing my browser settings (there is an issue with firefox and
windows vista) but didn't help.
One thing i notice is if i turn off Grassfish, then the ESB boost up. I
believe this is some issue related to internal DNS or memory. glassfish is
also running on localhost:4848 / 8181 / 50330
My Operating system is Windows Vista and am using JDK 1.6
Hope for a quick response
Thanks & regards
Nuwan

You are posting to the wrong forum, as Synapse is the core engine of the
WSO2 ESB - but is not the WSO2 ESB. Ofcourse the browser does not have
any impact on most of the SOA calls - unless you are making REST calls,
or checking the WSDLs etc?

If you want to try vanilla Synapse, it currently has some known
limitations on JDK 1.6. Also, there have been some discussions I've
heard about DNS, which slows down things if reverse lookups does not work.

hi Nuwan,
You probably need to ask for help from here[1]. As a note this is due
to revers DNS look up.
