[jira] Created: (HARMONY-5126) [classlib][jndi][ldap] refactor
LdapClient
[classlib][jndi][ldap] refactor LdapClient
------------------------------------------
Key: HARMONY-5126
URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/HARMONY-5126
Project: Harmony
Issue Type: Improvement
Components: Classlib
Reporter: Regis Xu
refactor LdapClient using a dispatch thread to receive response message from server. Thread which send ldap request will be waited
until correspond response have been received.
The asynchronous dispatch can support event mechanism, if the request is register a listener such as do persistent search, thread which send
request would not be blocked.
This change is huge and hard to test by writing unit test, because it is multi-thread and need communicate with ldap server.
I have tested the new mechanism in my local workspace using some scenairo tests, i will apply these scenairo tests to BTI as soon as possible.
