[jira] [Commented] (ACCUMULO-1044) bulk imported files showing up in metadata after bulk import fails

    [ https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/ACCUMULO-1044?page=com.atlassian.jira.plugin.system.issuetabpanels:comment-tabpanel&focusedCommentId=13617400#comment-13617400 ]

Eric Newton commented on ACCUMULO-1044:
---------------------------------------

If a tablet fails to update the !METADATA table with the bulk entry due to RPC timeouts, the update might execute outside of the lock/transaction counts. Adding an arbitrator check in the MetadataConstraints might help.
