Board report?

it looks like someone has added some text to the board report at

http://wiki.apache.org/incubator/June2010

but it's pretty sketchy. I don't see any mailing list discussion of this report, but maybe I missed something.

I like to see these developed in public on the wiki, something like this: https://cwiki.apache.org/confluence/display/BeanValidation/June+2010

Anyone want to improve our report?

thanks

Current text:

Amber

Amber is a project to develop a Java library which provides an API specification for, and an unconditionally compliant implementation of the OAuth v1.0, v1.0a and v2.0 specifications. OAuth is a mechanism that allows users to authenticate and authorise access by another party to resources they control while avoiding the need to share their username and password credentials.

The most important issues that must be addressed before graduation are: 1. One 2. Two 3. Three

The Incubator PMC / ASF Board should be aware that:

The community is in the first stages of formation and solely consists of the developers.

The project has begun with the contribution of code from the initial developers.

I sketched out a basic outline, figuring we'd discuss it here and and
then complete it.

Fair enough. We'll do it on the wiki first in future.

I guess we need to establish what we're reporting first; I'm happy to
write it up afterwards.

Anyone have any thoughts about what our 3 main issues are?

Yep, our three main issues at the moment are :
- Get everyone in to bootstrap the base community
- Discuss on the list what we want to do and how (which components we plan
to develop, accepting code from where etc..)
- Assign each one a piece of it

I hate to say this, but a month to create a user account or a mailing list
is a bit of a problem for the creation of a community and growth of the
foundation itself .. does infra needs more volounteers?

We have not done much... Except getting the infrastructure to start.
We are still waiting to get all the initial committers having an account
to start. (root says it will be done soon).
