[jira] Commented: (INFRA-1566) Apache Mirror Configured and ready to go.

> My Mirror is not listed at apache anymore. I' am showing that files are still updating.

John,

we removed your mirror after it had problem ; I think we sent alerts
for three weeks in a row ; no response. Btw, I see the contact
address is 'john@dev8.net' ; not the same as the address associated
with this ticker.

Looking at your mirror, I see a few problems
-- no HEADER.html or README.html files are shown in directory lisings
-- no icons are shown in directory listings
-- the 'root' HEADER.html is too short (not up to date ?)

Furthermore, we have changed the policy about changing HEADER.html
and README.html files. We like them unchanged now ; in the past interpretation
of the rules was more lenient, but that caused to much confusion. We are trying
to come up with a mechanism to facilitate 'sponsor lines' soon.

If you want to fix the problems, and are ok with the new 'rules', please let us know.
Thanks for you interest and support of apache.org.

Regards,

Henk Penning
