[VOTE] Apache Wookie 0.9.1-incubating Release (RC2)

This is the second incubator release for Apache Wookie, with the artifacts
being versioned as 0.9.1-incubating.

(Note: this is a completely different build to the one sent to this list
on 21/10/2011)

We are requesting a vote via wookie-dev for the release of the artifacts
in the first instance found here...

http://people.apache.org/~psharples/wookie/staging-area/0p9p1/rc2

...as the final 0.9.1-incubating release.

PGP release keys (signed using DDED352A):

http://www.apache.org/dist/incubator/wookie/KEYS

Additionally with version 0.9.1-incubating we are releasing 3 sets of
maven artifacts, which we hope will help
others to integrate WOOKIE into their own applications. These are...

1. Wookie itself as a downloadable WAR
2. The W3C parser
3. The Java connector framework

These artifacts are now in the staging area found here...

https://repository.apache.org/content/repositories/orgapachewookie-105/

Please take the time to verify the artifacts before casting your vote.

Vote will be open for 72 hours. (but probably longer)

[ ] +1 approve
[ ] +0 no opinion
[ ] -1 disapprove (and reason why)

This VOTE has now ended. There was a security issue found here...

https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/WOOKIE-283

...which means we cannot use these builds.

I now intend to update the 0.9.1 branch with the fixes from the trunk
and build new RC3 artifacts.

I'm going to close this VOTE, as Ross has mentioned - Scott found a
security flaw over the weekend which prevents us form going ahead with
the build as it is.

I will start work on 0.9.1 RC3 today, which will incorporate the fixes.

thanks to everybody who voted and hopefully we can get going with the
new updated 0.9.1 RC3 VOTE shortly.

I have to modify my vote to -1 due to a serious issue uncovered in the
last couple of days (WOOKIE-283). This has now been patched in
subversion but we should not release with this issue present.

+1

Checked the new repository artefacts and download packages, and the correct NOTICE, LICENSE and DISCLAIMER are in place for each.
