A bug is set to status Resolved FIXED, when the issue has been fixed in the
code. That means trunk or any applicable branch. It does not require a new
release to be fixed.

This is a duplicate (as stated in comment 0) of bug 6392 -- as well as bug 6463
and bug 6474.

I agree a new release would be good, but this issue is fixed indeed.
