OFBIZ and SOAP (with JSF)

Hello,

I have tried to create a portlet that calls some services through SOAP. 
I've had some problems with dates that seem of an incompatible type for 
SOAP.
Does someone have other examples than the one on 
http://www.opensourcesupport.it/products/ofbiz/sample_p.html?
