what OS are you thinking about running?

I know this MAY be kinda OT, but...

A really good all round solution is the Mail Toaster at
http://matt.simerson.net/computing/mail/toaster

Running on FreeBSD 4.7, it's a script/guide that will
install ApacheSSL 1.3.27 as well as a very robust mail server
running qmail/vpopmail/sqwebmail.

Very cool stuff. I like it because it's constantly
updated and it's got just about everything you need, and
a really good mailing list to boot.
