Question concerning DOMDocument::createElement()
========================================================================
Hi,
I have a (probably trivial) question concerning the createElement
method of the DOMDocment class. Its documentation says that
"In addition, if there are known attributes with default values,
DOMAttr nodes representing them are automatically created and
attached to the element."
Now where should such information on attributes' default values come
from?
My initial assumption was, that if the DOMDocument was generated by
a validating XercesDOMParser then such information should be available
from the schema/validation process. However, this does not seem to be
the case.
Am I misinterpreting something?
Regards
Marcus

This information comes from a DTD, more precisely from the DOMDocumentType
object that the DOMDocument owns.
