Crash on Linux with incomplete URI
Summary: Crash on Linux with incomplete URI
Product: Xerces-C++
Version: 1.6.0
Platform: PC
OS/Version: Linux
Status: NEW
Severity: Normal
Priority: Other
Component: Utilities
AssignedTo: xerces-c-dev@xml.apache.org
ReportedBy: brian@sweetapp.com
Xerces crashes when trying to retrieve incomplete URIs of this form:
http://domain <-- missing '/'
e.g.
http://pyana.sourceforge.net
The top of the stack looks like:
str() from /lib/i686/libc.so.6
?? ()
SocketNetAccessor::makeNew at SocketNetAccessor.cpp:97
...
Unfortunately, I don't have access to a Linux box right now so I can't test
this with CVS Xerces.
