[logging] starting the release process?

Hi Dennis,

Are you interested in kicking off the release process for logging?
After all your work on the logging maven builds, hopefully there isn't
much more to do than build a release candidate and have a vote.

I don't know of anything outstanding except that oddity with unit tests
I saw - but we agreed that could just be ignored.

As you're more familiar with maven than me, I'd be very happy if you
volunteered to be the release manager..

Actually I'm just about to start the release process :-)
I'm just making sure that the documentation for building commons-logging 
with Maven are in order.
