After the 3.3 release then the component list on master shows all components as preview, but the new in 3.3 were Preview. This is because the tool just go 1 version back, eg on master its 3.4-SNAPSHOT.

So we should make it 3.3 = preview, 3.4 = preview, 3.5=stable by default.
