Velocity 1.5 roadmap

Hi Will and company,

I just wanted to enquire how we are looking on the Velocity 1.5 release roadmap?

Do you think we are looking at a 2006 Q2 release, this first quarter
is almost over.

Not quite though close. I've got an event handler addition and there are
some obscure syntax bugs still out there.

Ok sounds good.

I have an outstanding tasks to test Cayenne 1.2 compatiblity with the
latest Velocity 1.5-dev trunc, and test how the revised error handling
works.

Have just checked out the latest source from new engine svn location.

Are we now at a code freeze point?

I was on holidays for two weeks and forgot about the perils of snow. I
slipped yesterday on the way to work and tore some ligaments in my
ankle.

While this is bad news for me, it is good news for Velocity because I
now have some free time to finish up the docs. :-/

	Best regards
		Henning

The immediate next steps are to launch the revised web site (on Henning's
plate) and to finish the event handler docs (on mine). I've gotten a little
side tracked with a 3 week old baby and too much paying work but let me work
on this. Henning, any news from you?

Cheers, Will
