Including properties files with the war plugin

Hi,

I have a set of properties files under src/etc and I would like to have 
them included under WEB-INF/classes/etc (just like java classes) in the web 
archive built with the war plugin.

I tried a few things but couldn't find a way that works at the end.

Could someone help ?
