This would be a great walk through the entire stack and would take a little time to do.

bq. I am labeling this ticket as newbie, with a caveat. I think if those of who are familiar with Accumulo work a out a good design for this feature, that it could be taken on by someone who is interested in contributing to Accumulo and learning about its internals.

I'd love to chat with someone in more detail about the propposed design if possible.
