Hi, thanks for the update, 
The JIRA subject is nearly right :-), it is to do with adding the *matrix* parameters immediately after the "/", and in cases when you may have a  template var catching it. It is a rare case indeed...

And thanks for conforming the issue is observed with RestEasy - it confirms we have a corner case...
