   Thanks @yandrey321 and @szetszwo for the reviews. Here is a summary of the latest updates:
   
   - The scope of this PR has been reduced to focus primarily on the server side.
   
   - Added several new test cases in TestKeyValueHandler to better cover different chunk layouts and scenarios.
   
   - Introduced a testVariableChunks parameter to control whether to retrieve the legacy checksum data. This ensures compatibility with the new variableChunks test environment without breaking the existing one. Since the legacy retrieval process contains numerous assertions, modifying it directly would make the code excessively complex.
