mail client that deals with auth

Hi,

Anyone know of a mail client package that deals with authorization? If
anyone knows of one and wants to make a bean out of that can be used as
part of release plugin that would be groovy.

Even just pointing me to a mail client package that someone is familiar
with that handles authorization would be great.
