Resolution: Fixed
Resolved by switching to -AA (see STDCXX-501). The problem still exists when using -Aa (i.e., when -Aa is specified in _CXXOPTS at configuration time, but since that's not the default mode and is only provided for compatibility with legacy code, this issue can be considered fixed.
